Galway v Tipperary  6 August 2017 in Croke Park

All Ireland Hurling semi-final

It was a brilliant day of hurling in Croke Park, It had been raining most of the day but fortunately I remained clear for most of the game. It was  a terrific spectacle and Galway won by a point in the end and it was one hell of a point from the Galway talisman Joe Canning.
Galway 0-22 and Tipperary 1 - 18

In the earlier minor match Galway  beat Kilkenny, so a great day all round for the county. Good luck to them on All Ireland final day.
